Life is going great. We went up to Idaho to spend some time with our peeps Cassie and Taylor. We had a wonderful time. We went out to tepanyaki and then had cheesecake factory for dessert. Taylor didn't tell us he knew the manager of the tepanyaki and he got their whole meal for free. Punk. The next night we stayed up till 1am playing scrabble, which was a riot, though not as fun as playing pictionary I think. But who listens to me?

Apparently Madeline likes corndogs??

Chris graduated from paramedic school. Yipee! Now he isn't so grumpy. he also gets a $600/month raise, which is nice to get when tons of our friends and family are losing their jobs. Security is a hard thing to come by in these hard times.

Maddie has had an ear infection forEVER. We did 3 rounds of different antibiotics and it finally went away with the last one. For five days. Then is came back. So all the docs could do was start her all over with the first antibiotic again. So now we are taking her the chiropractor instead and it seems to have gone away. Though now I am sick with a cold and Caitlyn has a temp of 103.4 out for nowhere. Just can't catch a break.

Jessica Anderson Peterson Anderson came into town today. It's her bday and we are both sick. But we ate Cafe Rio and had a nice time just chillin. She is gonna live here in Daybreak by me now!! Fun summer ahead with daily pool lounging and nice walks and workouts together. Can't wait!!

So my friend Joy has this awesome hardbound book of her baby Paityn's first year of life and I LOVE it, and want one for my family, so in order to do it I guess I gotta start keep a blog. SO I am gonna try.

Caitlyn loves being a big sister. She rolls around with Madeline in her arms and makes her laugh. Maddie loves it when Caitlyn barks at her and she loves to grab her curly hair. Caitlyn is an awesome helper with all bathing, diaper changes, and even reads her little sister stories. I am so proud of Caitlyn.

Here Maddie is pictured with the "C" she stole from Caitlyn's name in the background. Caitlyn can now spell her name and even write it! I can't believe how much she is learning at Shauna's preschool. I am very pleased with that investment. Caitlyn just had her school Valentine's Day party yesterday and had a blast. I am pretty sure she just thinks it's some random candy holiday, but that's about all it is anyway, right?

There are some days I feel like an awesome mom.
This is one of them. I love the days that Caitlyn and I just play. When Maddie's down for a nap and Caitlyn is like my best bud. These are the mom moments I want to remember. And today I beat Caitlyn in Candyland for the first time! I tried not to celebrate too much.
